BASIC SCRIPTURE for Today: JOB 19:23-29

In Florida, USA, an atheist became angry over the Easter and   Passover holidays usually enjoyed by Christians and Jews. He decided to contact his lawyer about the discrimination inflicted on atheists who have no public holiday. The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the long passionate presentation by the atheist’s lawyer, the Judge banged his gavel and declared, “Case dismissed! Obviously, your client is too confused to even know about, much less celebrate his own atheists’ holiday!” The shocked lawyer said, “Your Honour, we are unaware of any such holiday for atheists. The judge said, “Well it comes every year on exactly the same date—April 1st! Since our calendar sets April 1st as ‘April Fools Day,’ consider that Psalm 14:1 states, ‘The fool says in his heart, there is no God.’ Thus, in my opinion, if your client says there is no God, then by scripture, he is a fool, and April 1st is his holiday! Now have a good day and get out of my courtroom.” It would however shock you to know that many “believers” are atheists in mind/action. Yes, when you doubt if God exists because of your circumstances/trials, then you are an atheist and by implication, a fool. When you are seeking for a miracle through another source of power, because you believe God is slow, then you are an atheist! Have you forgotten Ishmael? When you pity yourself, then you are saying that God is wicked/dead! In this 2nd quarter of 2008, no matter how much delay you are experiencing, refuse the lie of the devil that God is ‘dead.’  Use today’s devotional to declare again like Job: “I know my redeemer liveth…” even when darkness has hidden His face! God CANNOT forget you! Refuse to join the ‘April Fools’ group!  Hold on! Hold on! Hold on! In this 2nd quarter of 2008, you will dance in Jesus name! (HELP SOMEONE TO WIN LIFE’S BATTLES! GIVE OUT THIS ODM EDITION COPY AS A GIFT)! 

   PRAYER POINTS: Begin this quarter with a 3-day fast using “War Against Haman-3” - Day 4, Day 9 and Day 18. Pray well.
1.          Worship God and pray about today’s devotional as led.
2.          Lift your hands and declare: “Satan, you are a liar forever! I know my redeemer liveth. He cannot lie! I refuse to be a fool.
3.          Pray seriously about this new quarter of 2008 as led now.
4.          I refuse to curse God or die. I refuse to doubt the existence of God. I refuse to get angry with God. Use “WAH-3” now.
5.          Lord, give me a reason to celebrate this quarter in Jesus name
